Heat Pump Engineer / Plumber / Installation Engineer

Job Category: Engineering Job Location: Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom Heating Engineer / Plumber required. Our client is a leading renewable energy installation contractor, specialising in heat pumps, solar PV, and biomass systems who are looking for a Heating Engineer to join their installation team based near Gatwick to work on a range of high-end domestic and commercial properties. The plumber will be responsible for carrying out installations, ground work pipe installations, as well as occasional service and maintenance of renewable energy systems i.e. air source and ground source heat pumps, and biomass boilers. The Heating Engineer will be working as part of an installation team of 2/3 engineers, with the aim of moving into a lead engineer role once settled in the role. The majority of the work will be conducted within the South of England, however, the may be the occasional requirement to travel further afield and stay away if necessary. The ideal candidate will come from a background in plumbing and heating, previous experience of installations and pipefitting is essential. The installation engineer must have previous experience working on heat pumps and would ideally hold an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating and Unvented Hot Water Cylinders (G3) qualifications.
