Job Category: Sales Job Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom We have been approached on an exclusive basis by our client who are a well-established, successful and leading HVAC provider to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop, grow and contribute to increased revenue throughout West Yorkshire and surrounding areas on a full-time permanent basis. The client: Our client is a renowned HVAC specialist with over 40 years experience in the industry. They offer all aspects of HVAC incorporating sales, rental, and service. Their highly experienced team provides solutions for HVAC and Industrial requirements within an extensive range of markets such as distribution and facility, food and beverage, manufacturing, and process engineering to name but a few. Throughout this year, our client has witnessed strength and significant trading even throughout COVID and increased revenue and sales which are up on last year. Job purpose: As the Area Sales Manager, you will ultimately be responsible for the development, growth and contribution to increased revenue for sales throughout West Yorkshire. This opportunity is heavily focused on generating new business development with a split of 70% new business and the remaining being Account Management. Key responsibilities: * Responsible for Sales across West Yorkshire * Maximise profitability and commercial growth through the B2B sale of a wide range of HVAC solutions, including sourcing and converting new business through cold calling and incoming enquiries * Building relationships within the Consultants, Construction and M&E sector * Build relationships with key personnel with blue chip accounts * Carry out visits to customers to build relationship and perform site surveys * Work closely with clients and their external contractors to sell bespoke solutions based on their individual needs, ensuring their business continued to operate at an optimal level * Formulate business proposals according to customers' business needs * Negotiate prices and variations in prices and specifications Essential requirements: * A versatile, analytical, and hardworking and experienced Salesperson with the ability to utilise previous experiences within sales and engineering to provide your new employer with the skills to take sales development to the next level * Proven track record and of maximising profitability and commercial growth * Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills * Proven ability to manage and complete projects to the highest standard, with a meticulous attention to detail and within agreed deadlines. * Full UK Drivers Licence
