Sale is for the screen only (meaning you will need to buy a mini usb cable to get it to work). See picture. I’m selling this for someone else, so I do not have any further information other than what’s written here.
The inbuilt battery is not holding its charge (this is a common problem with TomToms too), so the unit needs to be plugged into the (car charger) for navigation. Alternatively, a portable charger plugged in will work handheld (and I do have one of those on sale separately advertised).
Has UK and Ireland map, and World map (see picture). I have no idea how to update the maps. The maps are stored in the unit, so you will not need internet access to navigate.
The unit is much thinner than a normal TomTom, so can be used as a hand held pedestrian navigation if need be.
It does have a slot for memory card, but that’s only useful for storing routes, the unit works fine without a memory card.
I do have a video of this item working in the car. Ask for the link to Youtube if you wish to view it.
