Job Category: IT / Computing / Software Job Location: South East London, London, South East, UK Telecoms Analyst Job Purpose To provide telephone/paging and associated voice and non voice contact systems to customers and to provide a second and third line support service to the IT Service Desk Team. OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provide telephony services to all customers Provide third line support to the IT Helpdesk for any telephony requests, including resolution of problems, requests for new facilities and requests for changes to existing facilities Deliver high levels of customer service and present a positive image of the IM&T Department Work with Key Users, Super Users and other customer representatives to ensure that the service provided continually meets their needs Assist with the negotiation of service contracts with external suppliers and manage their service performance Assist with managing delegated budgets and assist with budget preparation Assist with development of operational policies Develop and implement operational procedures to ITIL standards and ensure that all staff are trained to use them Assist in the development of IT strategy, covering service strategy, technical strategy and resource strategy Ensure that risks are being properly identified and managed Take part in projects as required by the Telecoms Team Leader Properly manage changes to the environment to minimise any adverse affects to customers Ensure that the technical and operational architectures are properly considered in all changes Ensure that there are no surprises by good forward planning of work This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/91618499
