Bridgewater delivers a wide range of community-based healthcare services in Halton, Warrington and Oldham, as well as some networked services and specialised community dental services across a much larger geography.

Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is working in collaboration with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals (WHH FT), Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust (Mersey Care) and North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NW Boroughs) to shape the development of procurement and to be at the forefront of change.
As Purchasing Supervisor for Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust you will be directly responsible for the management of 2 x Purchasing Assistants to ensure that value for money is achieved on all products and services procured.
The candidate will have experience of working within a procurement environment whilst working under pressure to strict deadlines. Excellent organisational & Interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to motivate others and to set high standards to support wider collaborative procurement initiatives that offer real long term benefits across the NHS and its wider community
The post holder will be employed by WHH FT but will be based within the offices at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust which is easily accessible being close to the North West motorway network.
