You'll certainly feel proud when you see what you can achieve here.The focus of this role is to manage the relationship between Technology and the relevant business areas to ensure that the Technology function delivers outstanding value through the identification and shaping of required initiatives to support the business deliver on its promises to shareholders, customers and colleagues Key ResponsibilitiesExpectation that regular GLT, Exco and Board level engagement will be requiredThe role will have a holistic view of the end to end Technology service and change pipeline for their business areas to manage expectations and demand for Technology services and change teams Technology transformation is key to the DC transformation plan and delivering on our vision. It is critical that the Business Partners support the organisation, by identify key technology and solution that help delivery on our DC strategy and transformation Identify the key problem statements and areas that digital solutions can help accelerate our business performance as well as ensuring we help all our our customer enjoy amazing technologySupport and provide input into collating, shaping and forming high-level business requirements and solution, through interactive workshops with senior stakeholders, to help shape programme objectives and drive informed decisions on the right technology systems and services that meet our business needs.Generating ideas, scoping opportunities, identifying high level solutions, gaining business buy-in (Strong collaboration with other areas required)Defining, and prioritising a roadmap of change for the relevant operational area, such as Omnichannel, Supply Chain or Enterprise (HR, commercial, Finance)Creating well thought out business cases (including financial and non-financial benefits) as well as high level costs, facilitating ideas through the new Demand process and into DeliveryFor Business Customers, the purpose of this role will be:Consistent relationship with the SLT’s of the appropriate area / division (including C-suite members)Consistent Technology representation at business function meetings Business and Technology strategy alignmentCreate and help prioritise business function technology & change demand RoadmapsSupporting ideas from generation through scoping, new demand process and into deliveryTechnology Delivery and Service Senior Stakeholder UpdatesRequired ExperienceStrong ability to collaborate effectively with peer level managers and Senior Executives in a dynamic and maturing business context. No nonsense, pragmatic problem solver.Leadership ability to attract and lead a diverse set of resources – experience of building strong relationships between business departments, focussing on continuous improvement.Exceptional communication skills working with Senior Execs to junior IT staff membersStrong ability to work through ambiguity bringing teams of people with themSignificant industry expertise and thought leadership in this domainExperience in roadmap development and prioritisation of intiativesExperience in initiative shaping, including resourcing and business case definiton
