Role: We're looking for experienced and passionate individuals to lead delivery across Technology teams as an Agile Delivery Manager. Within this role, you'll be a key member in this team working in partnership with the Technical leadership to drive the team to success, which we define as their ability to sustainably meet ambitious goals and continuously improve. We currently have two opportunities in Technology; * Engineering & Infrastructure Teams - the teams that support the platform, infrastructure and support the application development teams with tools and services * Data Engineering and Business Intelligence - the teams that build and manage the data platforms that capture and present key business metrics Want to find out more about Depop & our engineering team? We write about technology, people and smart engineering - Responsibilities: * Drive planning, estimation and coordination of the team's technical roadmap and its execution * Implement, assess and continually improve the team's Product Development workflow, artefacts and events. * Measure, report and take ownership of the team's success in delivering software * Assess team engagement (general satisfaction and alignment with mission) implementing or escalating improvements when necessary * Provide challenge and input to product and technical decisions in order to drive the team to the best possible outcomes * Drive decision making in support of effective planning and execution * Coach the team in agile and lean methods, driving increased collaboration, appropriate communication and continuous improvement efforts * Act as a servant-leader, prioritising support for the team's success ahead of individual needs Progression in the role will involve accountability for the holistic success of wider areas of the Engineering department including areas such as communication, hiring, professional development, on-boarding and team structures. Requirements: Must have: * Experience working as a full-time Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, Delivery Manager or similar role. * Direct experience of managing remote teams, augmented teams and team members from 3rd party outsourcing partners. * A primary desire to achieve tangible results with a team and accept accountability for their success * The desire and ability to understand and explain technical concepts at an abstract level * The desire to improve as an individual, for the benefit of your team. * A passion for agile and lean software development. You'll be able to prove a broad knowledge of agile methods and techniques as well as a constant desire to improve your own understanding. You'll need a solid foundation in agile and lean principles. * Experience in identifying and effectively implementing continuous improvement efforts * Excellent skills in facilitation, coaching and mediation. You'll have a natural talent for working with others and acting as a servant-leader. * Ability to coach teams on the deeper principles behind the Agile principles and facilitate actual changes in outlook and behaviours * A willingness to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new, e.g. writing a Python script to capture data on something you think might be a valuable metric We'd love you to have: * Experience working in a mobile-first environment or a startup environment * Scrum, Kanban or similar certifications Benefits * Learn and Grow: We want to give our people the opportunity to learn.
