A leading blind manufacturer and supplier is seeking a talented and motivated professional with proven success of working in a target driven role.
The main purpose of the role is to grow and develop the sales of window blinds and shutters in Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London (north of the Thames). You will be at the forefront of developing relationships through the identification, nurturing and conversion of prospective customers.
An equally important part of the role is to visit existing customers to maintain and develop relationships and sales.
Existing and prospective customers range from sole traders to large suppliers of blinds and shutters therefore adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.
The area currently has an annual turnover of £3.5 million which you will be required to increase as set out in monthly sales targets.
The company was founded in 1978 and is one of the finest and longest standing manufacturers and suppliers of window blinds and shutters to the UK Window Blind industry. They pride themselves on supplying high standards of product and service and are constantly driving to increase their product portfolio and their share of the UK Window Blind market.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative. Applicants must be experienced in sales and hard working with excellent communications skills. Organisation and effective geographic planning will ensure efficient time management and maximise sales potential. The ability to give sales and product presentations and a proven success in sales are a must.
Full training will be given including visits to existing and prospective customers. Product training, including training at their manufacturing facility will be necessary.
This is a target driven sales role whereby results will be assessed against monthly sales expectations. Regular telephone updates to the Business Development Director along with monthly face to face meetings with the company directors will be required.
Salary and Benefits
A basic salary of £32,500 per annum is on offer (dependant on experience).
The hours are 40 hours per week and flexible to suit the role.
