Launched in July 2020 by Alec and Kristoff with £14.6m in Series A funding just announced (led by Left Lane Capital and DN Capital) following £1m pre-seed from Heartcore Capital (see TechCrunch for more info) we’re experiencing amazing customer growth, retention and NPS and looking to 10x Weezy’s footprint over the next 12 months across London and the UK. What to expect as our first People & Talent Manager
We’re a small team (10 right now but growing fast). We collaborate very closely and are focused on rapidly creating impact. In order for us to maintain this, we need a People & Talent Manager to become the glue that binds our expanding team together. In a nutshell, your mission is to help us build and maintain an environment in which people can do their best work. It sounds cliche but that’s what it is!
You’ll be the first ‘people person’ at Weezy, taking ownership of, what is right now, a blank canvas. From hiring to firing and everything in between, you’ll own it (hopefully not too much firing but we all make mistakes). It goes without saying that this is a great opportunity to help shape our culture as we grow, making sure it continues to be our competitive advantage.
Finally, you understand that Seed/Series A startups are a rollercoaster of highs and lows, at high speed. Every Weezard understands this and is in it 100%. If this sounds like a good thing, then this role might be for you!
