An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 5s to join our Theatre Teams
We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills who can show their ability to work closely with the theatre and ward teams to ensure that a high standard of care and theatre skills are demonstrated with every patient.
You may be an experienced Band 5 seeking a new challenge and wanting to seek professional development within the theatre departments or a newly qualified professional looking for a challenge.
We pride ourselves in delivering high quality care whilst working to the increased demands of our Business Unit.
As a qualified practitioner within our theatre environment your responsibilities will include team management; undertaking clinical audit; the safe admission and discharge of patients from the theatre department; dealing with concerns and anxieties of the patients; educating junior staff and mentoring students.
The Theatre department focuses on elective surgery however the department works with the whole hospital team to ensure patient care and safety is maintained at all times. We are seeking a practitioner who is adaptable to the demands of our busy Theatres and hospital and able to work flexibly to cover the full range of duties and on-calls including weekends.
The successful applicant will be motivated and keen to share learning with the theatre teams and deliver excellent patient care at all times.
You will be encouraged to develop your management skills and we will ensure you undertake continuous professional development.
