As part of this recruitment opportunity we are looking for Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join our theatre teams.

We have 74 theatres throughout the University Hospitals Birmingham, covering a wide range of specialties. There are excellent opportunities for successful applicants. We will encourage you to learn new skills and progress your theatre career. We cater for both elective and Emergency procedures; participate in Organ retrieval and transplantation as well as being a Major Trauma Centre. Our theatres are constantly expanding as the demand for our skills increases.
Within these theatres we have day case theatres covering many specialties such as Ophthalmic and Urology surgery.
All applicants must demonstrate within their application a strong commitment to teaching and desire to develop and progress your career within the Operating Theatre Department.
Applicants are required to work a range of shifts which include earlies, late shifts, nights, weekends, long-day’s bank-holidays and on-calls.
