Do you want to shape your world and change the way the world works?  Do you want to collaborate and achieve together with committed people to support our UK and Ireland pension and benefit arrangements.  This is your world and your opportunity to shape it for the better.Shape your worldWe are looking for an Accountant to join our Pension Accounts team to assist with the efficient and effective running of the team within the Fujitsu Pension Department.  The role includes the preparation of quarterly management accounts and the annual financial statements for our three main pension schemes, which includes overseeing the audit process. It also includes the preparation of accounts for other non-pension scheme entities.You will also assist with day to day administration for our pension and benefit functions including invoice management, payments, answering queries and tax returns.Good communication skills are key as you will be required to liaise with the pension scheme Trustees, the wider Fujitsu Pension Department and third party providers. As a Pension Accountant you will assist with:·       Accounting and reporting for UK pension schemes within required timescales·       Preparation of quarterly accounts and annual financial statements·       Investment accounting for the Common Investment Fund·       Preparation and monitoring of budgets·       Cash management, including cash forecasting and ensuring payments are processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with agreed timescales ·       Monitoring and ensuring contributions from employers are properly paid, recorded and accounted for·       Preparation of tax returns, including quarterly VAT Returns·       Providing financial information to Trustees, Company and other third parties, as requiredYour experience·       Experience of producing accounts and managing audits within tight deadlines·       Ability to work independently·       Flexible approach to work·       Good Microsoft Office skills·       Ideally a knowledge of pension accounting·       A professional qualification would be an advantageShape your world and achieve togetherWe want the best people on our team, so we welcome and encourage applications from people with a diverse variety of experiences, backgrounds and identities.
