If so, Global Lead, Regulatory Strategy, Global Regulatory Affairs - Health & Wellbeing could be an ideal role for you!As Global Lead, Regulatory Strategy, Global Regulatory Affairs - Health & Wellbeing you will be responsible for developing and directing the global regulatory strategy, objectives, policies, and programs related to the development and marketing of health supplements (VMS/ Dietary Supplement/ Food Supplement) to create, grow and protect the business.The Role:Provide leadership, subject matter knowledge and strategic guidance in all regulatory aspects for all health supplement businesses.Single point of contact and accountability for global regulatory strategy and leads the regulatory sub-teams as well as represents regulatory on key internal decision-making teams.Define and execute global regulatory strategy for Health & Wellbeing business (Health Supplement) to ensure optimal business support – innovation, expansion and compliance.Assess, define and lead regulatory framework for future upcoming health supplement innovation spacesWork with R&D and other relevant functions to ensure ‘right first time’ data/ dossier generation to meet regulatory requirementsPartner with internal companies/ groups e.g. OLLY, Liquid IV, SmartyPants etc to ensure aligned global H&W regulatory strategy Partner with internal Unilever functions to develop and execute health supplement related internal policies e.g. ingredients, advertisement, innovation etc.Develop and implement internal SOPs to ensure optimal support and regulatory compliance.Provides proactive guidance to internal groups based on technical and regulatory knowledge towards the development of strategic and tactical plans. Identify and assess the regulatory risks associated with product development.May serve as a backup for Head-Global Regulatory Affairs (H&W) and may serve as delegation head for health authority meetings and can effectively lead key meetings with HAs to ensure full discussion of issues and opportunities.Define, develop, own and execute regulatory metrics for performance assessmentCollects and analyses information of regulatory and competitive environment and shares with Regulatory Affairs and other groups as appropriateActively train/mentor junior staff and provides broader guidance on regulatory interpretation to H&W staff​About You:We are looking for an experienced individual and if you have these skills, we would like to speak with you.Extensive relevant experience (in health supplement/ OTC industry in regulatory leadership/ strategy domain)Worked in a global organizationAbility to think ‘analytically as well as strategically’ with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable mannerAttention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise mannerAbility to think flexibly in order to meet constantly shifting priorities and timelines and to independently provide solutions to issues. Problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and ability to find creative solutionsDemonstrated technical leadership experience and ability to drive assignments to satisfactory completionDemonstrated ability to routinely accept empowerment from senior leadership to proactively resolve issues and identify and champion opportunities toward optimal regulatory strategies and implementation.Ability to read, analyse and interpret scientific and technical information, as well as regulatory documents.Ability to work successfully in a ‘team-based’ environmentAbility to understand, manage and lead in a multi-cultural atmosphereProven leadership, project management, development of people, and process improvement abilitiesExcellent interpersonal communications, organizational, and presentation skillsSuperior negotiation and influencing skills Address 402 Metro Central Heights, 119 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6DX
