We are delighted to present the The Pines Hospital Day Case Facility in Sharston, Manchester. Previously The Pines Hospital, this exceptional healthcare centre of excellence will open in September 2020 and facilitate a range of cosmetic surgery, NHS and independent surgeon options.
This will be an exciting and friendly environment in which to work. Hosting 2 theatres and 22 patient rooms, the hospital has already been rated ‘good’ in its latest CQC inspection, and it is our intention to raise this to ‘outstanding’. Ward Registered Nurses
Assisting the ward team, you will ensure that internal and external standards are maintained, in terms of patient care and other quality indicators. The role would suit an individual with a hands-on approach who is committed to providing excellence in customer service and patient care standards. You will be caring for our surgical patients upon admission and immediately post operatively.
Key elements of this role include:
Although cosmetic surgery experience is not essential, applicants should have experience of caring for hospital inpatients pre and post operatively. Surgical and wound care experience is essential.

Theatre Practitioners
Full time, part-time or bank positions available
We’re currently seeking experienced ODPs, scrub and recovery nurses to join our team at The Pines. In this role, you will deliver high quality care to patients undergoing cosmetic surgery through demonstration of clinical competence. You will be responsible for carrying out all relevant care without direct supervision, and be required to demonstrate procedures and supervise qualified and unqualified staff. You’ll take charge of the theatre unit when required and undertake other duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.
It will be your responsibility to promote and maintain a high standard of clinical care by continued professional education and practical participation. This will include:
Key duties will include completing mandatory surgical checks prior to commencement of the theatre list, during and pre-wound closure in line with policy, ensuring that all best theatre practices and procedures are complied with, and helping to drive continuous improvement in theatre activities to continually improve quality of care.
Applicants should have either an ODP or RGN background with some post registration experience within a high acute speciality, although cosmetic surgery experience is not essential.
Burcot Hall Hospital in Bromsgrove is a an impressive, purpose-built independent healthcare facility which provides cosmetic surgery and bariatric surgery. Located in aces of countryside, yet with excellent road and rail links, the hospital sits in a unique setting. Its state of the art facilities include 30 private rooms, five consulting rooms and four operating theatres.
