About Our Client

This Client is dedicated to changing lives and is focused on the community within which it is heavily integrated. They have received funding to launch 2 huge projects focused on regional and national issues which requires a strong communicator to manage the communications plan for.

The Communications & Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

• Manage and deliver communications plan for 2 main projects
• Raise the profile of the projects locally, regionally and nationally - achieved by writing press releases and liaising with the media and stakeholders
• Analysis of effectiveness of comms - evaluate comms activity to ensure milestones are met
• Commission agencies
• Attend project meetings to discuss progress & activity updates

The Successful Applicant

The successful Communications & Marketing Manager will have:

• Fresh ideas and the ability to work independently
• Experience in a similar communications role - ideally in the Public Sector
• Very strong, demonstrable writing skills
• A strong understanding of modern communications channels and the ability to evaluate/analyse
• Experience working with agencies
