Senior Internal Communications Business Partner Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications & Change, we are looking for a passionate internal communications expert to deliver strategic and business critical internal communications programmes and initiatives. It’s a dynamic and fast paced environment where a passion for powerful game changing comms is absolutely essential. This is a 10 month fixed term contract. What you'll be doing Driving and delivering strategic and business critical internal communications programmes and initiatives, working proactively with senior executives, business leaders and stakeholders to embed the division/Group strategy and vision You'll develop relationships with key senior business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and shaping business decision. By understanding the business strategy and plans you’ll in turn create and deliver an internal communications strategy and plans aligned to Group Internal Communications Agreeing key deliverables & goals for internal communications within the business – facilitating the delivery of meaningful metrics to guide future strategy and track communications effectiveness, driving communications improvements and excellence for the business Providing advice and guidance to senior executives and business leaders on how to communicate strategy and plans. You’ll be educating them on their role of translating Group objectives into relevant messages for their business/functions You’ll be the communications advisor for business owned projects – advising how/when to communicate and leading the communications workstream of large scale organisational design changes in the business, advising and working with the business to agree the detailed communications plan. You’ll also be providing strategic event management for events hosted by leaders and identifying key projects within the business that need support Articulating key narratives and defining strategic messaging for the division. You’ll draft/write key communications from senior leaders – setting the tone and editing/polishing others messages Providing strategic direction, leadership and oversight for the following areas in line with the division’s communications strategy: An inspiring internal communications programme aimed at employees, which fosters pride in the division’s brand.The production of engaging and well written content in multiple formats, including print, film and electronic, that meet high editorial and design standards and present a compelling, impactful and positive image of the division to key target audiences You’ll be an advocate of the Group Internal Communications strategy and ensure leaders understand the service proposition and model across your business What we're looking for A proven track record of working in internal communications at a senior level, devising and delivering communications plans Managing communications in a complex organisation with many internal stakeholders Delivering an internal communications strategy to raise awareness of strategic aims and enhance pride in the division’s brand Undertaking a review of a division’s communications outputs, such as printed materials and digital content, leading to increased efficiency and impact Proven experience of handling change management communications A proven track record of devising and implementing systems for evaluating the effectiveness of communications Knowledge of new and emerging platforms for engagement with target audiences An excellent and persuasive communicator, including written skills, confident presentation skills and the ability to gain the respect of colleagues at all levels. Strong strategic and operational corporate communications planning skills A proven ability to deal with a varied and complex workload, including the ability to organise your own workload, prioritising a variety of tasks while working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
