We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for our client based in Stockport who play a major part in the Manufacturing Industry working on high profile projects for the Military and MoD.
Job Purpose :-
You will be leading a small team by receiving incoming stock in a safe and timely manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping within the new purpose built facility and support the Warehouse Manager with service delivery and improvement activities.
As the Warehouse Team Leader, your duties will Include :-
- Lead a small team within the Warehouse Operations and ensure training needs and team development is maintained. - Ensure safe receipt of goods in a timely manner and process into stock/kits/line-side or quarantine accordingly. - Liaise with internal customer to achieve a safe delivery on conforming parts to Production OTIF. - Coordinate workflow in conjunction with Planning & Production. - SAP Warehouse module interaction and compliance to standard methods. - Collate/provide data to enable stock holding efficiency review with Finance, Purchasing, Production and Planning teams. - Seek and highlight opportunities for continuous improvements in safety, cost, quality and delivery performance - we want to feel part of the process and your feedback is valued.
The successful Warehouse Team Leader will have the following skills :-
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in leading a team within Warehouse Operations. - Must hold a current FLT Licence. - Any IOSH/NEBOSH certificates would be advantageous. - Must have good knowledge with SAP. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. - Basic knowledge of MRP2 - High organisational and communication skills are required. - Excellent leadership skills.
