HR Manager
Description✓We are looking for an HR Manager to join our client's team based in Huntingdon.
✓Immediate start!
✓Full time, permanent role.
✓HR Manager Job purpose;
✓To implement and maintain companies Human Resource [HR] practices ensuring compliance with current legislation to maintain an employee-oriented high-performance culture that supports the timely production of quality products
✓To support and develop the company's workforce with our review processes which set goal attainment on a timely basis
✓To undertake staff recruitment and deal with all staffing issues taking into account the Senior Manager's departmental requirements for the development of a superior workforce
✓To co-ordinate the implementation of ongoing training working with managers and assisting and advising the company’s managers on HR issues.
✓HR Manager's working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 or 9 am until 4 pm or 5 pm.
✓HR Manager's salary is 30-35k per annum.
✓HR Manager's Main duties;

✓Ensure that the company's written HR policies, procedures [including disciplinary and grievance procedures] including employee rights remain compliant with current employment law and that all documentation is kept up to date electronically and with hard copies on files
✓Document and manage how staff are made aware of policies and policy changes and procedures and how they have access to them in accordance with best practice and employment law
✓This should include documenting employee’s right to advice and the company's obligations to employees.

✓Provide the Managing Director prior to the monthly board meeting: a summary of changes in employment law by producing a short report which includes hyperlinks relevant to the update for further information; a summary of all ongoing employment and staffing issues, including projects, individual disciplinary issues including a brief history, actions taken and proposed actions to be taken.

✓Show Managing Director and proposed notices/updates to be posted on our 3 HR notice boards.

✓Manage and maintain HR personnel files according to UK legislation
✓Ensure all employee files both electronic and digital are kept up to date and liaise with our Finance Manager regarding issues that relate to wages prior to payroll processing.

✓Support the Senior Management Team Managers when implementing new procedures and attend Senior Management Team monthly meetings.

✓Control and run the HR Risk Register.
✓7
✓Assist, monitor and file relevant reports onto staff members’ HR files for the annual performance appraisal system.

✓Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures maintaining an open-door policy.

✓Manage investigations and complex employee relation issues including redundancy and grievance ensuring all employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements.

✓Review and update job requirements and job descriptions to assist Senior Managers with recruitment and manage the recruitment process with the Manager.

✓Develop and maintain effective hiring procedures and recruitment agency contacts
✓Support Managers on all recruitment and onboarding procedures to ensure consistency and fairness throughout.

✓Gather and evaluate market data to measure the company's competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation, and benefits packages.

✓Maintain leaver procedures.
✓14
✓Monitor all employee records including maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular support to members of the Senior Management Team.

✓Maintain and drive professional knowledge.
✓Candidate [HR Manager] Requierments;
✓* CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is a must.
✓* ER experience must be proficient in sick management strategies and solutions.
