Family Law Paralegal
Description
We are working with one of the North West leading Solicitors with over 200 years' experience! For the busy Liverpool City Centre office, this will temporarily home working, we are recruiting for a paralegal with family law experience. This is based in a fantastic location for public transport with parking available locally.
About this Family Law Paralegal role:
Communicating with courts
Updating clients on case progress
Preparing bundles of documents for hearings
Day to day assistance for the family team
Supporting the Family Law Team to grow the department and be willing to work in a Team
Working on the Legal Aid Agency System CCMS
(experience in this is essential)
Drafting letters and emails and undertaking all general administration duties
Taking all new client enquiries, briefly assessing circumstances, and arranging appointments
Addressing client telephone enquiries
Must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be a driven and motivated individual with a willingness to go the extra mile for clients
Essential Skills & Experience for this Family Law Paralegal role:
Law Degree or equivalent qualification
Family Law experience
Experience of working on the Legal Aid agency CCMA systems
