The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2021. Applicants must have earned a PhD degree in Statistics or a related area with a clearly demonstrated outstanding record of excellence in research and teaching. We are seeking exceptional candidates with research interests in Actuarial Science including, but not limited to, insurance statistics, insurance data analytics, risk and loss modelling in insurance, or insurance risk management. Professional actuarial qualifications recognized by the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries would be considered an important asset.
