Course Quality Manager

We are an award-winning e-learning company based in Cheshire. We develop life changing e-learning courses which include mobile, tablet and audio courses. We currently have a range of over 1,000 courses that we sell into 150 different countries worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Course Quality Manger to oversee the production and quality of all of our courses. We currently bring out 2 new courses a week and the high quality of our courses is extremely important to us. The Course Quality Manager role oversees the whole process of course creation from production to ready for sale, overseeing a team of course creators and video content producers. Editing and improving content where needed.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Management: Manage and oversee team members and related functions, giving training and support, and ensuring quality and productivity.
• Courses:
  
  • Ensure a high standard across all course content produced throughout the company.
  • Course creation: source and liaise with authors to create courses.
  • Review created courses and work with authors to finalise before approval. Review new courses for sign off.
  • Proofread, copy-edit and format courses, ensuring a consistent high standard.
  • Review uploaded courses to ensure quality and consistent standard and formatting before going on sale.
  • Oversee freelance copy editors, review and format their work.
  • Liaise with content team and review uploaded courses to ensure quality and consistent standard and formatting before going on sale.
  • Submit courses to appropriate associations for accreditation and liaise with accrediting bodies.
  • Review product pages created, giving feedback on copy and images.
  • Review marketing emails for our courses and give feedback on copy and images.
  • Oversee our annual yearly review with course accreditation bodies.
  • Identify areas where we can improve and/or update courses.
  • Oversee the video production for courses and ensure it’s of a high standard.
• Quality Management:
  
  • Oversee and maintain quality processes and literature to ensure course quality and quality throughout company systems and processes.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

• Experienced in proof reading and editing (more than 3 years)
• Excellent written English and copy writing experience
• A background working in Education is beneficial
• Managerial experience is beneficial
• Excellent organisational skills
• Be able to work efficiently without supervision
