Who we're looking for:PwC is looking for a Manager level candidate to support the Sales and Marketing Team, the business and Salesforce leaders in the ongoing development and adoption of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and associated potential future marketing related platforms. This role will sit within the Tech Centre of Excellence, a team responsible for the management of the wider Salesforce ecosystem in the UK, which also includes Sales Cloud and other related software. The role will see the individual supporting the development of further phases of work and managing new releases as they come through. Understanding, driving and leading testing of new developments in functionality; optimising the platform over time, and supporting Sales and Marketing through a period of change as they adopt Marketing Cloud and new ways of working, will all be key to the role. This will require the individual to build relationships with the Salesforce SMEs, IT team and the Global Salesforce team in order to fully understand the requirements of the business and Sales and Marketing function. The job holder must possess a good technical knowledge of Salesforce comprising Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, strong project management skills and an understanding of the Global and UK drivers for Salesforce. Responsibilities:Manage the ongoing releases of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including their impact on any of the additional technologies integrated with Marketing Cloud. Keeping up-to-date with Data Protection laws and industry best practice, trends and standards. Be the UK representative on the Marketing Technology Action Group (MTAG) and ensure all potential changes being introduced are aligned with UK needs, escalating these internally within Tech Solutions when necessary. Escalation point for technical issues in Marketing Cloud to aid in understanding problems and how best to communicate them to Global Salesforce. Quality assurance testing at a product level - working with the UK SF tech team as well as PwC Tech to identify UK specific testing requirements and then with UK users to execute UAT. Managing UK licences (obtaining licences and monthly checks on starters and leavers). Clearly articulate the business value to the wider teams so that they can understand the intent behind the product/release. Work with other Product Managers to understand releases on other S360 technologies (e.g. Sales Cloud, Community Cloud etc) to understand the impact on Marketing Cloud use. Drive the success of the product and collaborate with the cross-functional team that will be building and improving it (incl. Business SME's, designers, developers etc) Understand the business value related to new requirements and convert as necessary into 'value stories'. Working alongside Marketing Leadership to drive the technology roadmap. Co-create product documentation; how to guides, training materials and support training if required. Define and maintain the roadmap with leadership, in line with the Firmwide and Sales & Marketing objectives. Qualifications & Experience:Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its interactions with other Salesforce products is desirable, though not essential (additional training to enable Marketing Cloud Certified practitioner status may be supported). A technical understanding of testing stages and release management desirable, though not essential. Good understanding of and comfortable using digital / online services. A creative approach to problem solving. Proactive, flexible and agile style to navigate changing agendas and approaches. A positive team player. Email marketing automation understanding. Basic HTML / CSS skills Used to delivering projects to schedule and achieving desired results, in liaison with the wider business. Not the role for you?
