Responsibilities Define and deliver Product Strategy & Roadmap •Development and management of new acquiring services eg BIN sponsorship, Bureau services, payment facilitators •Value added services eg FX and reporting •Support for specialized verticals - Crypto, airlines, ISV, subscriptions •Manage the EU Acquiring product manager (1 FTE) Drive business performance •Monitor OPEX and CAPEX and sponsor efforts to improve SLAs and reduce cost to serve •Ensure correct billing of interchange and scheme fees and optimize performance KPIs (authentication, acceptance, decline, chargebacks and fraud rates). •Drive process improvement, including automation and self service tools. •Demonstrate business cases and needs for efficiencies. •Sponsor projects to ensure card scheme compliance eg 3DS/SCA/8 digit BIN Regulatory Accountability •Executive owner for Regulatory and Scheme Compliance for the EU Acquiring entity •Oversight of shared service functions, including Operations, Risk, Product and Technology including setting and monitoring risk appetite. •Reports to internal Integrated and Ecom Solutions (IES) and Exco governance committees •Key liaison with regulators (incl Ireland and UK): manage audits, compliance, and adhere to responsibilities of Paysafe licenses eg GDPR, PSD2 •Monitor key KPIs and SLAs across the acquiring business and present to the regulator as required. •Ensure correct level of risk appetite is maintained •Oversight responsibility for Mastercard and Visa licenses and ensure Paysafe complies with card scheme rules to maintain licenses. •Business sponsor for projects to ensure card scheme compliance eg 3DS/SCA/8 digit BIN •Board rep + Other Board Acquiring member (Outsourcing, MRR, Data Privacy) •Disaster recovery and Business Continuity rep •Enterprise Risk liaison •Schemes (Visa/MC/AMEX) in collaboration with the Banking team Candidate Requirements and Competencies The ideal candidate for the Head of EU Acquiring Product & Development role, a potential future candidate for bigger leadership roles at Paysafe, will demonstrate the following competencies: · Extensive Product management experience (agile) gained within the payments sector · Excellent knowledge of card present and card not present acquiring · Solid understanding of s cheme rules & mechanisms · UK and EU Regulatory framework understanding · Regular tracking of the latest industry developments and trends · Genuine passion for payments. · Can navigate complexity in a matrix organisation. · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred · Attention to detail and accuracy of work at all times · Ability to work with all levels of senior management · Good command of the English language, both written and spoken · Professional and effective written and oral communication skills · Conscientious about quality and timeliness of deliverables · Must be able to take initiative.
