THE POSITION

We are looking for the Product Analyst that will use data and insight to shape and evolve how we build products and features for our customers. You will play a major role in defining and improving how we collect data, measure performance and create visibility for the business.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Provide web development teams with required specifications. tracking requirements, data layer specifications and testing scenarios
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to analyze information needed and functional requirements desired to deliver front end data implementation. Act as liaison between the business units, engineering and analytics teams to ensure the right data is captured and sent to the currect business systems
  • Leverage javascript skills to configure tags and pixels on the site. Work with QA teams to validate configuration. Understand web development to ensure that all tagging and tracking are implemented correctly
  • Elicit and document front end tracking requirements using face to face meetings, document analysis, requirement reviews, use cases, scenario analysis, business analysis and workflow analysis. Documentation includes but is not limited to user stories, project plans, business requirements, business process flows, and test scenarios
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Manage and keep track of all open issues and ensure issues are resolved in timely manner

THE STATS

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • 2+ years of experience implementing web analytics tools on an e-commerce website and identifying, diagnosing, and resolving web analytics implementation and reporting problems
  • 2+ years of working experience with Web Analytics products– Google Analytics, Amplitude
  • 2+ years of strong hands-on experience in UI technologies like HTML, Javascript, jQuery, JSON based data layer, etc
  • Strong knowledge of implementing marketing pixels and tags
  • Experience using tag management tools like Google Tag Manager
  • Understanding of web best practices and web conversion metrics
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Comfortable working expediently against quick turnaround times
