Organisational Design Consultant - Inside IR35


Develop and maintain a clear organisational baseline. Working with our Org Development (OD) team and liaising with multiple stakeholders (eg People Business Partners, Finance and IT systems team), this role includes a strategy and implementation piece. It will be responsible for coming up with the "as is" comparison of functional capabilities along with clear benchmarks for peer analysis. Separately, the role will also be responsible for co-ordinating a data clean-up programme focused on HR data sets across business functions. The ultimate objective is to get a transparent view of our organisational capabilities, related org. data and establish a robust process to maintain it


  • Experience working with OrgVue tool
  • Become an expert in Org Vue (third party tool) to identify issues with existing data sets and create and model different scenarios
  • Create and run reports from Org Vue/Excel to support various analytical tasks and baselining workshops
  • Conduct OrgVue training sessions for HR business partners and other stakeholders


  • Collate data across various functions to understand current state in terms of org. charts, capabilities and accountabilities
  • Create meaningful benchmarks for comparison with external peer groups to identify synergies
  • Co-ordinate with multiple work streams to identify bottom up opportunities to meet synergy target


  • Gather organisational data from the People and Finance IT team to prepare review packs for business partner
  • Co-ordinate PMO activities for data clean up to ensure we deliver against set timelines
  • Support third party tool integration by developing a detailed project plan for implementation
  • Lead requirements gathering and current state analysis phase
  • Co-ordinate testing and "go live" for implementation

Key capabilities

  • Post-Merger Integration experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Org Vue is a nice to have although familiarity with any HR analytics tool will also be useful
  • Ability to create high quality content in traditional media mainly ppt and xls
  • Stakeholder management - able to engage, influence and collaborate diverse stakeholders
  • Planning and analysis - ability to assimilate high quantity of inputs and create logical, consistent materials
  • Project management - plan and manage workload to meet key milestones, proactively manage risks and escalate issues in a timely manner
