HSIB conducts independent investigations of patient safety concerns in NHS-funded care across England. The safety recommendations we make aim to improve healthcare systems and processes in order to reduce risk and improve safety.
HSIB is funded by the Department of Health & Social Care and hosted by NHS England and NHS Improvement. We hope that when parliamentary time allows, we will be established as an independent public body.
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our new HR & Organisational Development team. You will have proven experience in designing, developing and implementing training and management/leadership development interventions to support and improve organisational effectiveness. You will have knowledge of working with a range of organisational engagement initiatives, health and well being programmes, mandatory and statutory training, induction and appraisal.
Using your training and OD experience, you will undertake all four stages of the OD cycle to deliver effective training and OD interventions. We are looking for a results-oriented person who can work well across a number of initiatives and will take the lead when required in a busy healthcare setting.
Educated to master’s level or equivalent level of experience, you will have experience working with senior leaders. You must have an understanding of current healthcare and support the culture of transformational change.
This contract is for a secondment/ fixed term which will expire on 1 July 2021. Please note that the reason for the fixed term of your contract is due to the organisation's current funding model.
HSIB is situated at Cody Technology Park, a unique private campus 10 minutes from Farnborough town centre and 40 minutes by train from Waterloo. It is a superb spacious working location with ample parking, a subsidised restaurant, café, nursery, gym and landscaped gardens to enjoy.
HSIB adhere to the salary principles set out in the NHS Terms & Conditions of Services handbook. Please note, applicants coming from outside of the NHS will be appointed to the bottom of the advertised pay scale. The usual starting salary principles apply for applicants coming from the NHS.
