Your new role
This is a newly created role, working within the HR team, reporting to the HR Director.
You will be the "Expert" for the Senior Leadership Team with regards to Learning, Development and Talent solutions. You will support the operational business with capability and learning needs of the teams and the wider business. This will in turn maximize the potential of the employee base through continuous professional development, nurturing talent, succession planning and strategy planning (short and longer-term workforce plans).
This will involve the design, planning, implementation, roll out and delivery of learning interventions - including modern methodologies and practices such as eLearning etc. Another area of the role is to develop apprenticeship, graduate and internships programmes - with all related activities such as developing relationships with providers, insight days and work experience. You will also manage and work on the Apprenticeship Levy and other external funding opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have a solid background in L&D interventions (design and delivery), developing and using eLearning programmes; have some experience of developing graduate/intern/work experience programmes and the Apprenticeship Levy. Ideally CIPD/L&D qualified to Level 5 (or studying) or alternative CPD courses.
