The Therapy team provides a seven day service to support the Trust in providing high quality care, facilitating safe discharge and preventing unnecessary admissions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the specialist cardio-respiratory and vascular therapy team based at the Glenfield Hospital. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is either registered or a student in their final year keen to work in an acute hospital environment to develop their clinical an skills within the cardio-respiratory specialism. You will have the opportunity to rotate through respiratory and cardiology services as well as the clinical decisions unit. Due to recent ward moves we also have a therapy vascular team, so can offer opportunities to work with this patient group to increase your knowledge of amputee care. The post holder will benefit from joining a large, integrated Therapy Service with an excellent reputation. You will receive peer support and formal clinical supervision from motivated and experienced clinical specialist staff in addition to a comprehensive induction and appraisal.
