The Successful candidates will join our generic adult teams and be required to take an integrated and strength-based approach to prevention and assessment in order to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carer's and families.
Your role will include the development of reablement goals, assessment and delivery of housing related support including adaptations, complex equipment and moving and handling solutions. A positive approach to risk taking, and the ability to contribute to inter agency and multi-disciplinary approaches both across the council and in other statutory bodies are key to this role.
The role involves working with another OT in the Team and doing duty and will be expected to do lone working.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
