Together, these people help to produce 4 billion packs of medicine.\n \n Job Summary \n \nIn this position you will be identifying and selecting the most appropriate controls to reduce exposures to acceptable levels, along with undertaking exposure monitoring according to the plan or ensure that surveys to measure exposures to noise or chemicals etc are conducted by competent people.\n \nYou will need to provide expert Occupational Hygiene advice to the Maidenhead site operations and Senior Leadership Team focused on a range of controls in order to maintain and improve site Performance, support site operations and implement Core Occupational Hygiene Programmes.\n \nAlong with the above you will be supporting and promoting the highest levels of performance consistent with legal requirements, GSK standards and Good Manufacturing Practice at all times.\n \nWithin our Maidenhead site we are currently recruiting an Occupational Hygienist, job details below.\n \n Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: \n Provision of competent advice, coaching and guidance to line Managers with technical guidance. Development, provision and delivery of training to staff and management on Occupational Hygiene aspects. Coach and mentor generation of suitable and sufficient risk assessments. Development and maintenance of key occupational hygiene systems. Development, implementation & monitoring of occupational hygiene targets and metrics. Effective contribution to the development of site strategies and plans.
