ER Manager Location: Keynsham, Bristol 40:00 hours, Permanent 12 month FTC Your New Company One of the UK's leading facilities management and professional services company. Your new role In your new job as an ER Manager your main duties will be: To oversee a team of ER Advisors and Assistants, providing Employee Relations advice and support to Managers across the business To coach support and build talent within the team, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service and Technical employment law knowledge To manage all aspects of the Employee Relation Advisory team, ensuring services level for both time and quality are met always To monitor team and ensure all inbound call/emails/updates are entered into call logging & case management system ensuring SLAs and KPIs are adhered to To provide guidance to ER Advisors and Assistants when advising on HR procedures and systems To complete end to end life cycle tasks for team members, such as not limited to, interviews, induction, probation review, monthly 121's, Annual reviews, performance management, training plan To proactively keep knowledge portal up to date with changes as they happen To identify opportunities to improve business and employee engagement and present ideas back to Head of ER and Change Work closely with immediate peer group and wider HR community to create a one team approach What we are looking for The successful ER Manager will have: Extensive knowledge of employment law and the ability to give pragmatic commercially sound advice on complex employment issues is necessary Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from different levels of the organisation and across the different lines of business. Able to build great stakeholder relationships both within the business and HR Performance and Continuous improvement driven - always looking for better and improved ways of delivering service Proficiency in SAP HR and payroll system or another recognised HR database preferred but not essential Previous experience of managing a team in a customer service environment Ability to influence in all areas of business CIPD or equivalent qualification What you'll get in return Working with a market leader, you have the chance to enhance your existing skills, while developing new expertise and personally contributing to the company's growth and success.
