We have an exciting role for a principal pharmacy technician to work in the busy dispensary at Epsom Hospital.
You will work with the senior patient services team to develop the service and create the level of excellence that we strive to achieve for our customers. You will support the development of and manage the dispensary staff and have an important role to play in ensuring the efficient and timely supply of medicines for our in and outpatients.
We are looking for an individual with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills who can take the initiative and work as part of a team. You must be enthusiastic, motivated and have great attention to detail. We will expect a proactive approach to monitoring and correcting stock levels and keeping dispensing error rates to a minimum.
You will be a qualified accredited checking technician (ACPT) and have experience of the NVQ assessment process and will participate in the late duty, weekend and Bank Holiday rotas to provide a seven day service. Experience working in a UK acute hospital trust will be an advantage.
