We are working with an exciting medical technology start-up company in Cambridge and we are looking for a Engineering Lead to head up the research and development team.
This is the perfect role for a mechanical engineer or electronics engineer who has experience with designing complex electromechanical systems.
As the Engineering Lead you will be leading the development of all mechanical and electronic parts of a brand-new medical device. You will hold responsibility for all aspects of the electromechanical design of the system and will work closely with the broader science and software development team, making this a truly multidisciplinary role. Your focus will be on rapid development for clinical trials of the device to meet critical and ambitious milestones for this well-funded start-up.
As well as leading the development of the systems you will also have the opportunity to shape future research and development programmes and held build a start-up from the ground up.
We are looking for people who have significant electromechanical design experience with a deep understanding of mechanical design, electronics, and schematic design. This will be coupled with a passion for medical devices and technology that aims to improve people’s lives.
