Pathology Quality Manager We are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager (Band 8a) to be responsible for the pathology quality management system at Whittington Health. The Whittington is a welcoming and friendly workplace and the department benefits from excellent links with both specialist clinicians and general practitioners. We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-organised and highly motivated individual to take up the post for our professional and friendly team. You must have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, be adaptable, flexible, and innovative. You must have the ability to work on your own as well as within a team and be highly motivated to deliver excellence. The post-holder will be responsible for the maintenance of the unified pathology quality management system which meets the standards set by ISO 15189, MHRA and HTA. You will need to provide expert advice, support and leadership in quality management issues throughout Pathology and in other parts of the Trust as required. Pathology services at Whittington Health are within the London 1 Pathology Network and are in discussion regarding the transition of pathology services into a hub and spoke model.
