Environmental Services, Operations Manager Reference: 733/ESOM Location: Islington with travel to other offices as required, (from home during Covid-19 social distancing measures) Contract: 15 months Salary: circa £36,000 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Are you a highly organised Operations Manager who wants to make a genuine difference? If so, they would love you to join them at London's leading environmental charity and the largest provider of fuel poverty direct support across London. In this role you'll manage the operations within the Environmental Services team, the majority of your work will be in their award-winning Green Doctor programme, a portfolio of more than 20 Green Doctor projects across London but the role will also cover their social prescribing programme in Hounslow and their re-use hubs, The Loops. The successful postholder will enjoy working in a fast moving, target driven environment and have the proven ability to work flexibly to meet the evolving needs of programmes. You'll be an experienced project manager having delivered high quality, impactful services and projects, and be confident with financial systems, reporting to funders, delivering to contract and monitoring & evaluating impact against KPIs/ targets. You will also be a strong team manager able to recruit and induct candidates and motivate and inspire. A good knowledge of energy efficiency and the effects fuel poverty has on the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people is desirable, but absolutely not essential for this role. They are also interested in hearing from you if you have health sector experience with knowledge of NHS systems and/or experience working on financial inclusion projects.
