An exciting 6 month secondment opportunity has arisen to join the Risk Management Team as a Clinical Risk Manager at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
Potential candidates may include experienced nurses or AHPs seeking an opportunity to further understand risk management processes or those simply seeking a new challenge. We also welcome applications of senior administrative or operational staff seeking to broaden their knowledge of governance and learning processes.
The post holder will be instrumental in supporting the completion of incident investigations, utilising root cause analysis methodology. You will also support in the identification of themes and learning from incidents to help generate safety improvements for both patients and staff alike.
You will be working with a committed and friendly team of people to help shape future ways of working which will help our Trust to become an outstanding organisation for all. Our priority is to further progress a responsive approach to organisational learning and quality improvement as well as to build a culture for excellence to flourish.

You will have a good degree of autonomy and must be motivated to provide high quality advice and support to staff at all levels with an approachable style. We want to recruit someone who takes a great deal of pride in whatever they do.
The post-holder will also have the opportunity to support the development and delivery of training and education in relation to governance and risk management.
