An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join the respiratory clinical pharmacy team and deliver high quality clinical care to these patients. Experience of working in a variety of clinical specialities is essential, including a range of experience within medicine.
Under the direction of the Lead Pharmacists for Respiratory and CF, you will work closely with a well-established team including junior pharmacists and medicines management technicians to develop your clinical skills. As a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team you will contribute to service improvement projects to enhance efficiencies. There will be opportunity to attend the advanced practice development programme and improve a variety of non-clinical skills whilst working through the advanced pharmacy framework. We will support you to complete the prescribing course if you are not already a prescriber.
Good communication, time management and analytical skills will be required and the ability to work effectively in a team. In addition, you will contribute to pharmacy services in the evenings and weekends, thus maintaining your basic skills and competence.
Applicants must have a postgraduate certificate in clinical pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
