Following promotion of the current post-holder, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join the pharmacy medical team at Morriston Hospital, which is located on the edge of the Gower peninsula (with its cliffs, great beaches and surfing). Excellent relationships with clinical colleagues allow the team to work closely with our medical and nursing colleagues teams to contribute first class pharmaceutical care to medical patients in the emergency department and across a range of acute medical wards. Our team endeavours to provide highly skilled pharmaceutical care early in the patient's inpatient stay to help optimise the quality of prescribing and clinical care for the patient. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated and talented pharmacist to join our team. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with good time management and organisational skills. Support and mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate by team members to ensure that you fulfil your potential in this exciting and challenging role. Going forward, an opportunity to undertake and develop an independent prescribing role will be possible. Experience of tutoring clinical diploma and pre-registration pharmacists will be welcome but is not essential.
