Click on the logo below to see the video of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust values Highly Specialist Dietitian - Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Band 7 (0.6 WTE) Royal Free Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, Edgware Community Hospital 22.5 hours/ week (Outer London allowance) This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team at the Royal Free Neurological Rehabilitation Centre (NRC). The team is highly regarded locally and within the wider neuro community, and provides a range of specialist neurological services. This role provides specialist dietetic assessment, advice and management to patients with a range of neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, brain injury and motor neurone disease. You will be working with patients within a community and outpatient setting as well as providing cover and support to the band 6 dietitian who provides support to our inpatient unit. You will be working with an experienced and innovative multi-disciplinary team and will have the opportunity to further develop your clinical and leadership skills. You will be clinically supervised by the Clinical Specialist for Nutritional Support within the Royal Free London Dietetic service, with operational management provided by the Clinical Lead for Neurological Rehabilitation and Community team lead. You will also be a member of a dynamic team of dietitians based at the Royal Free London across three sites (Hampstead, Barnet and Chase Farm). The Dietetic service has close links with neighbouring acute trusts and other local community dietetic services and places great emphasis on CPD, support and supervision. We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team but also autonomously. You will have an enthusiasm for the training and supervision of staff and the development of the service. This post requires you to have had comprehensive clinical experience, including working with neurological conditions. You will be able to demonstrate relevant post-graduate training and be a car driver. In return for your experience, motivation and commitment, we offer flexible working and actively support CPD and involvement in local and trust wide service development projects.
