We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and dedicated individual to join the team to deliver the governance agenda.
The post holder will co-ordinate the investigation and response to clinical incidents on behalf of the senior management team and ensure appropriate risk assessments are undertaken and acted upon by the clinical management team and clinical staff.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required to present reports and offer challenge where necessary. Excellent time management skills are required to manage a busy workload and a flexible approach will be required to meet the needs of the department.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential, to be able to deliver against key objectives, in a fast paced and ever changing environment. The post holder will need to be an individual who enjoys collaborative working and is committed to continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
The role will be based at Royal Preston Hospital with occasional travel to Chorley General Hospital.
