Clinical Educator

Description

We are looking for a caring and compassionate professional who wants to work in the innovative field of cancer nursing, providing excellent quality care for cancer patients during and post treatments, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy and also for those patients at end of life. The Oncology unit provides inpatient and outpatient care for cancer patients within the Cancer Centre. Research and development has seen many improvements in the care and treatments that are delivered and this is set to continue. We are looking for highly a motivated, enthusiastic Clinical Educator with excellent communication skills to join our already established teams who you will work with to provide continuous development. You will have a proven record of leadership at band 6, have oncology experience and it is desirable you have a chemotherapy qualification. You will take responsibility for the education and training of medical and nursing staff you will ensure that staff is skilled and fit to practice in the Oncology setting. This role will enable the right candidate to develop their own skills and learning and be fully supported in the own development has a clinical educator.
