Then you will be ready to take on an exciting clinical educator post in acute surgery on Damson ward at Barnet Hospital, working closely with 2 other CPES on the 2 other adjoining surgical wards. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team in delivering high quality education-based practice on Damson Ward This 24 bedded ward provides care for acute surgical patients admitted from emergency department specialising in colorectal surgery / we are though happy for you to have transferable skills in relation to this speciality. The Practice Educator Role is designed to influence the quality of the clinical learning environment by providing support, educational input and development activities for mentor/preceptors and students, pre-registration and post-registration education programmes. We are looking for a registered nurse with: Current/previous acute experience in an acute hospital setting A passion for education and development The post holder will be an integral part of the team who will be supported by the ward manager and matron and will be offered opportunities with personal development We offer fantastic support and opportunities for our nursing staff to include: Supernumerary orientation programme that will be individualised to your professional needs. In house leadership programme and support you to attend various NHS Leadership Courses. Access to internally run clinical skills; personal development courses Support from fantastic ward and divisional teams both medical and nursing and therapists.  AT* - Apprenticeship Training.
