An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Governance team to recruit a Governance Lead, based in Bicester, Oxfordshire for NHS111/Integrated Urgent Care across the Thames Valley. The clinical governance lead will have responsibility for applying clinical governance principles to the delivery of the NHS111/Integrated Urgent Care service across the Thames Valley. This includes the use of standard operating procedures, reporting, investigating and implementing learning from adverse incidents, complaints, concerns, HCP feedback, legal cases and clinical audit.
The postholder will attend contract review meetings and work with commissioners to ensure the Quality Schedule contract requirements are met.
The successful candidate will have a clinical registration and enjoy working in a dynamic team who are committed to the provision of high-quality care to the members of the public who use our services.
You must have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy. You must be capable of working as part of a team and also with minimal supervision, methodically and accurately with the ability to make decisions and use your own initiative. You will need to be able to deal with a changing workload.
You will need to have experience working with commissioners for services and other external agencies as well as other provider services.
