Specification Sales Specialist - Emergency Lighting Sysytems

Are you South West based with existing contacts within the world of design & build consultants, end-users, local authorities, M&E contractors and electrical wholesalers? Would you like the opportunity to join a world leading engineering firm within a market leading division (Emergency lighting)? Would you be happy covering a patch that would cover both London (as a main focus) and the Midlands? If so, my client, a world renowned business with a multi billion £ turnover worldwide may be interested in your profile for their latest new vacancy. The role will see you replacing a recently promoted manager who will be leaving the patch in an incredibly 'warm' state Things you need to have: *Significant emergency lighting / central battery system system product knowledge *Proven track record of sales success in technical sales role(s) *Full UK driving licence *Excellent communication skills. Comfortable dealing with professionals at all level. The role: The successful applicant will manage a given area to its fullest capacity and conduct the sales and marketing activities for our client's Emergency Lighting / Central Systems Products, through specification and project tracking with consultants, end-users, local authorities, M&E contractors and electrical wholesalers. Responsibilities: Meet annual sales budget. Raise awareness and profile of the client's brands through demand creation and enhance market position through specification and sales. Understand and agree target market place and implement high quality visits with agreed target accounts. Create with Sales Manager and regularly review personal business plan for monthly 1-1 review meetings. Identify, track and communicate projects to optimise sales and enable project intelligence / referrals to be passed to other divisions sales engineers. To provide quotations, offer Emergency Lighting solutions and progress to orders. To provide technical assistance and escalate technical queries where necessary. Maintain Project Tracker and participate in monthly project meetings to communicate project intelligence to optimise opportunity for all LVP to facilitate accurate order forecasting. Carry out training / demonstration / seminars to specifiers as required. Provide product Technical data to ease inclusion in specification documents with End User, Consultants and M&E Contractor. Ensure that the (url removed) is maintained and used correctly. Build and enhance relationships with existing and target accounts by utilizing appropriate corporate hospitality and where necessary outside of normal working hours.
