Business Process Improvement - 4 month FTC

We are looking for a Business Process Improvement specialist with an excellent proven track record of improving processes within a business, this is a short FTC with the view to extending. Main purpose/scope of the role This Senior Business Process Specialist role sits within the functional unit, it has key several key elements: Supporting the relevant Head of' in delivering improvement activity across directorates Leads process improvement projects with minimum supervision and guidance, including the development of a project charter, project plans, ensure the management of risks & issuesand reporting on status.Conduct Workshops (virtual & in person) to map as-is & to-be processes & analyse data to provide recommendations with measurable improvements Create process models to the standards defined within the company's process Management Framework for inclusion within the central process repository (Abacus). Perform analysis of structured and unstructured data Closely manage Stakeholders, Sponsors and any project dependencies/interdependencies to ensure outcomes are aligned and effective transition to BaU ownership, Proficient in process mapping tools Ensure clear identification of benefits within recommendation; support the business in delivering those identify benefits and opportunities Key Responsibilities Lead Process workshops and facilitate the outcomes from the knowledge of the business SMEs and stakeholders by producing As - Is and To - Be process maps Work with business unit/directorate/functional leads, BAs, BRMs and Solution Architect to transform old and develop new processes into fit-for-purpose solution designs for implementation Lead business critical projects relating to process improvement within a large-scale transformation programme Provide recommendations with measurable improvements Implement recommendations and drive continuous improvement. Problem solve to identify root causes of selective issues restricting or affecting the business using process improvement and problem-solving tools Responsible for the measuring and monitoring of implemented processes and quality performance against agreed KPI's. Examine processes holistically to understand the impact of changing them on people, strategy, systems and general business operations Proactively work with business unit/directorate/functional leads and perform gap analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities across company Analyse as-is process models, then compare them to to-be designs and determine necessary changes for arriving at improved state, then communicate these effectively to relevant stakeholders, building case for change where deemed necessary Document suggested changes to the design and implementation of existing solutions and new solutions and help stakeholders plan for process changes Prepare deliver informative, well-organised presentations and contribute to business cases where required Provide ad-hoc support to prepare timely and informative briefings and options papers with recommendations to address process issues when required
