Maintenance Planner & Stores Co-Ordinator

About the role
We currently have an opportunity at our manufacturing site in Pirbright for a Maintenance Planner & Stores Co-Ordinator to join our team. You would be responsible for maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance team using all planning and scheduling techniques.
Key Accountabilities:
Planning:
Utilizing the Maintenance Management System to analyse work orders that form the current backlog
Evaluating/investigating non routine tasks prior to work starting
Evaluating HSE risks, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Backlog management
Scheduling
Preparation of weekly work schedule and routinely communicate these to customers
Analyse and report KPIs
Assisting in the management of Risk assessments, COSHH, PUWER, Manual Handling, Noise, DSE, PPE, Contractors, Waste disposal, Incident investigations and Inspections
Compliance
Ensure adequate supervision is in place for work that is managed directly
Routinely follow up on the work order history
Report near miss and incidents and complete investigations
Liaise with contractors and plan/schedule activities
Manage and maintain stores stock for maintenance of assets.
Manage the uplift of spares onto SAP
What experience / skills you need
An engineering background alongside planning and/or stores experience
Strong systems experience, ideally SAP knowledge
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple teams across the site
Ability to work to deadlines
A drive for results in terms of team delivery and personal output
Previous experience working in a regulated industry such as FMCG or Pharmaceuticals
