Maintenance Engineer

Full Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK's leading Food manufacturers based in Norfolk. You will be working 4 on 4off on a days and nights shift pattern.
We need a pro-active and forward thinking Electrical / Maintenance Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical day to day planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
Diagnosing Electrical and Mechanical faults and carrying out maintenance work
Working with a planned preventative maintenance schedule
Proposing ideas for continuous improvements with lean manufacturing techniques
Liaising with colleagues, managers and other departments to control maintenance tools, stores and other equipment required to carry out maintenance
Involvement in project work when required

The Maintenance Engineer will be electrical bias with skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Coming from a food or FMCG background will be highly advantageous for the maintenance position.
The Maintenance Engineer will have completed an Electrical engineering apprenticeship or have an electrical qualification to NVQ level 3 or above.
£40,000 - £42,000 per annum
4 on 4 off
