Due to a recent client award our client are looking to recruit Fabric Maintenance Engineers to cover a portfolio of clients in Swindon to cover the M4 corridor.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager the candidates will be responsible for undertaking various building fabric repairs in a planned and reactive maintenance environment. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder and have a multitude of experience in maintenance and repairs to various types of buildings.
You will work as part of a team and must demonstrate a sound knowledge of all building related skills and demonstrate ability to work on own initiative The Building Fabric Engineer shall: Working as part of the Maintenance Team, as one of the Building Fabric Engineers you will be responsible for maintaining high quality buildings, carrying out repairs and maintenance to internal and external fabric of a wide variety of assets. You will play a key role in planning and completing a range of works associated with carpentry & joinery, plumbing, tiling, drainage, minor roof repairs, finishes, plastering, flooring etc. Qualified to City & Guilds in either Carpentry or Plumbing and demonstrate previous experience in a Multi Skilled maintenance role. Demonstrate a good general knowledge of construction and Fabric maintenance.
