Description✓Location: Saffron Walden [CB10]
✓Duration: Ongoing, likely to become permanent for the right person
✓Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday with a 2:30pm finish on a Friday

✓Polytec are looking for a Technician for our Saffron Walden based client
✓You should have good wiring and soldering skills and be able to produce high quality work.
✓Responsibilities:
✓* Interpret and understand drawings
✓* Ensure compliance with quality procedures, notifying of any deviation or non-conformance
✓* Mechanical assembly
✓* Termination of subsea electrical connectors, cable joining and top side electrical junction boxes
✓* Swaging of hydraulic / pneumatic hoses and their integration to stab plates, winches and QRC's.
✓* Soldering
✓Requirements:
✓* Electrical / hydraulic background
✓* Wiring and soldering skills
✓* Experience within a similar role would be beneficial
✓* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, working quickly and accurately
✓* Ability to effectively review problems
