Repair Technician

✓6 month contract - with a view to go permanent

✓7:30 - 16:00 Monday - Friday
✓Although these skills are required as part of the role the key here is now on fault finding and repair experience.
✓DUTIES REQUIRED:
✓Repair Technicians Main role is to Analyze, Repair and Calibrate units that have been returned for repair.
✓Responsible for documenting the repairs made.
✓Ensuring that procedures are followed.
✓All related tasks for this technicians roles

✓REQUIRED SKILLS
✓Must be able to:
✓Solder
✓Quality and eye for Detail
✓Electronic Fault Finding Experience
✓Knowledge of optical and electronic components
✓Excellent understanding of analogue and digital electronic circuitry and technologies
✓Capability to quickly and efficiently diagnose the cause of faults in electronic and electro-optical equipment
✓Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word and Windows will be considered assets
✓ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
✓Appropriate training in electronics and/or optics or equivalent experience
✓At least one years' experience in a similar position
